Rachel is a doctoral student clinician experienced in working with early to late adults, people of color, Asian communities, international populations, and clients from LGBTQIA+ communities. She is passionate about providing culturally responsive care and strives to understand the unique challenges and strengths that come with diverse identities and experiences.

Clinical Expertise

Rachel specializes in supporting clients as they explore and make meaning of their intersectional identities. She is committed to helping individuals navigate stressors, life transitions, and challenging experiences in ways that foster authenticity, resilience, and fulfillment. Rachel approaches therapy with curiosity, cultural humility, and collaboration, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their growth.

She has experience working in both private practice and community mental health settings, providing short-term and long-term care to diverse populations. Rachel has supported clients across a range of cultural backgrounds, gender and sexual identity expressions, and trauma histories. She also has particular experience working with high-achieving individuals managing anxiety, perfectionism, and internalized pressure, as well as clients processing intergenerational and culturally rooted trauma.

Training

Rachel is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is currently completing training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Her clinical training also includes comprehensive therapeutic and psychological assessment experience, allowing her to thoughtfully integrate both intervention and evaluation into her work when appropriate.

Rachel draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), integrating these approaches to meet each client’s unique goals and needs. Her work emphasizes values-driven living, emotional regulation, and developing practical skills while honoring the broader cultural and relational contexts that shape each person’s experience.
